hey!
i wanted to purchase something from amazon for my penpal but i dont have a credit card. isnt there any other possibility to order something? does everyone in america have credit cards? cant i just transfer money to them or something? or give them permission to withdraw it from my bank account?
im from europe but i wanted to order something from the american amazon since its much cheaper. is this even possible?
are there any other sites out there like amazon? or could anyone help me buy something on amazon. im totally new to that site and at the moment im just like "??????????????"

Hi i think you need a credit/debit card for most things you get online, does Amazon use paypal? maybe you could set up a paypal account??

Do you have a ATM/debit card? If you do, I would suggest calling/emailing Bookpeople in Austin Texas. They have a lot of experience in sending books to prisons. They have never let me down. It could work for you and you would be supporting a stand alone bookstore.

i have one last question. im not a native english speaker so im having problems understanding what this means (about what im allowed to send and whatnot) :

does this mean i can send a CD if i order it off barnes and noble?
or no CD at all and do they mean magazines?
i cant call the prison as i have a hard time understanding spoken english let alone on the phone. otherwise id call them. maybe i could send an e-mail and ask? or does anyone here know what this means?
