Hi All,,,I have a dude who is facing deportation,,I am torn on this subject.
I have a few questions,,,in a nut shell what IS the catch and release policy? Also how can a country refuse entry to a person born there? Is this based on not producing a birth certificate or visa? How do other countries handle taking back people? Like Mexico or are they an open border return?
My ther question is,,who pays for keeping people in the country illegally imprisoned? How many illegal people are imprisoned with life sentences and longer sentences? How much is it costing? I dont think it is fair for us to pay,,we need to bill those countries by either reducing federal aid or sedning them an invoice against imports,,, children born here and whose parents go broke paying taxes (the poor and working class pay the most taxes) can not get a decent education in the inner cities but yet we find money to imprison illegals,, meanwhile kids in the inner city are using text books that look like tattered confetti, and no music programs (which have been proven to reduce crime among youth)
Sheesh

Basically a country will refuse a person when they're not convinced that this person has the nationality of that country. It happens a lot, people saying they are from country X, the goverment presents this person with the embassy from country X and the government says this person is not from our country. And then you have nothing, because country X will not cooperate with issuing travel papers.

Who pays for the costs of detention when it concerns illegal immigrants? I would say the United States pay for this. You could try and deport a person before putting him to trial, but I don't think many victims would deal with that very well? Like, this person killed your family member, but he's not going to prison for it, instead we send him back to his own country where he could possibly live in freedom. I don't think this will go down very well?

Zo-I would say send him back,,because 9 times out of ten he will probably be living high off the hog in prison compared to where he came from and being in a us prison is like being on vacation in comparison.

Babi, I don't think many people would agree with you :-) I would rather live in personal freedom than being stuck in a prison for God knows how many years...

The show purports to feature commentary on the day's sports news, perspective on other news stories, interviews with sports analysts and sports figures, as well as a generous blend of pop culture and listener interaction, but is in reality a lengthy collection of songs about mustaches.
