Default Lockdown To All State Prisons in TX

All TX state prisons are in lockdown, due to a "cell phone" threat, from a TX DR inmate.

Mail has been slow from Texas prisons, thanks to Perry, I guess it will be a month before things return to usual business! Thanks!

Humm, guess they need to do a shake down of staff and trash out their desk area's, lockers and stripe search them daily.

Sad, for all the inmates who will be effected, and their familys and pps. Slow mail for sure.

For a DR inmate to obtain a cellular phone, that had to come from staff. They need to search the incoming staff just as they do inmates. This is nuts.

Thank God! Junior made commissary before this went down. This really sucks that all inmates have to pay for this, seriously.

Skye is correct there is only one way a TX DR prisoner got a cell phone and Charger and that is a bosses and probably rank too . Not any other staff and for it to be by others offenders on TX Dr where they are locked in their single person cells 23 hrs a day and escorted to rec or shower cuffed. This means other bosses also were aware of the cell phone/s So I have very little question rank is involved maybe that explains the 2,100 or whatever it was and having a charger

TX has arrested Tablers mother Sister have been arrested and face felony charges now I want to hear all the drity bosses and rank who let this happen are also arrested and facing the same charges and more because it isthier job to keep this stuff out . I am sure thier names are known by now
Yes mail is going to be very slow as every little thing is being checked and all visits are suspended.
No it is not fair then this is Perrys reaction to a problem he and Bush As Governor of TX helped create.
Now had this guy called and threatened the average person none of this would be going on

It is Ironic the Bosses don't like the exact same treatment they dish out daily how pathetic . I guess they can quit so have and some are probably just creating more suspicion by calling in sick .It only makes them look guilty of something if they don't want to be searched just like the offenders . No one told them to be a boss

TDCJ is the only DOC that lets a boss come to work in uniform and not be searched . Could that be a part of the problem ?

It gets worse more cell phones wherr found on DR and i on other units.

13 cell phones found in searches of Texas prisons

That and now 3 cell phones and a charger have been found on TX DR tells me that this does mean Rank was involved . Ther is not a chance that almost all the bosses knew they had too Iti s not possible Rank did not know unlesst hey stayed in their office all day and watched TV or talked on thier cell phones .

They m names should be made public and they should be locked up in Polunsky as a enhanced punishment .Let them explain why they let it happen to a angry offder whop has been eating Peanut butter sandwiches and boiled egss for weeks due to this BS Yep peanut all Bosses need to be treated just like offenders their desks trashed and strip searched .Maybe the offernders can do it sort of a swap jobs thing seeing how there is not much difference any more between those in white and those in gray

Why has TX not released the names of the bosses and there was more than one and some had to be rank They are Just as guilty and need to do the time as well as every one else . Maybe some one does know and will make it public . Come on TDCJ make the bosses and rank names public too they are just as guilty if not more so !

I just got mail from Teague & Dalhart Texas today, my fellows seem to be well and the drama over for their institutions. As a Texas state employee I find myself resenting special treatment for guards for if I was found to be taking things from a contractor my name goes up in lights (bulletin to TxDOT persons) and I am fired. AS far as "poor guards they make so little" well if you had to wait every two years for a state legislature to give you money, you would be poor like the rest of us. Just once I would like to see "lightning strike" for the good of the citizens whose tax money we spend, like guards cleaning floor with tooth brushes.

I spoke with Junior's unit today. They are on lockdown until every nook and crannie of the institution is searched.

Visitation has been suspended pending word from Huntsville.

I hope the CO(s) involved have to spend some time in seg.
