Default Filing Motion in Ohio

Does anyone know how long it takes for someone to get a response to a motion filed in the courts? 30 days, 60 days...I guess it depends on the number of motions to review, but I was also thinking that the courts usuallly have a set time in which to respond to motions.

Default Filing Motions

Hi I'm afraid the answer is "it depends." It depends upon the state, the court and the type of motion. You might try asking a clerk of court and/or checking the local criminal rules of procedure. A law library should have a current copy and the law librarian may be able to help you.
