CNN.........???? the ex-nurse married to the TN. inmate.......shot their way to freedom in an escape! they were caught last night at a Ohio motel.............goodness sakes! all for love i guess! WOW......scarey! (she is in hospital recovering from her gunshot wounds) the correctional officer they killed will be laid to rest at a high school gym in a couple of days! WOW......scarey!

yes i read it .. saw it etc.. and this brings up the slew of articles and specials that will focus on marrying an inmate etc.. abc news has a story online already about those who choose to love someone inside..
ahhh I laugh as I am not overweight, controlling or abused .. yet I am engaged ( even have the ring he bought to prove it) to an inmate.. but thing is he is not an inmate he is my fiance.. but be prepared people for the media blitz on the topic.. she did tho work in the prison and that is one aspect they are mentioning as she met him through work and was fired ... many states will not allow someone who worked inside and is cuaght with an inmate to visit etc for a year.. for security reasons
and it is a felony
but it is sad the officer lost his life

Arrianna is correct...we should expect the onslaught of looky-lous demanding to know why we write inmates and why women marry inmates.

CNN last night ran a piece discussing the issue with a psychologist who instantly diagnosed every woman who has a relationship with an inmate as having low-self esteem and being unable to form relationships in the community. She is clearly the most amazing pschologist in the world! They used to make me talk to my clients before I was allowed to diagnose their disorders and problems!

They also showed a graphic of a Pen Pal site, but it wasn't WAP, so maybe that will help in us avoiding all the nutbars.

But I have a feeling the Mods are gonna be busy this weekend!

Hey all,
I did see it on CNN last night! With my mom too, and then she started again with me about the fact that I was writing to prisoners...She suspects that I still write to them using a box address, but I just said I wasn't going to talk to her about it anymore because she is just going to keep saying the same kinds of things over again. I did add to her that I was just simply writing to them as a friend for support. Anyway, not going to start getting into all this AGAIN!
