Can i have some advice please from you experts on here. If a pen pal is close to his excution date is it OK to mention it?? or do they not need to be reminded of what they already know?? its just that I have no idea what Im supposed to say. I had a pen pal die before and I was never sure if I was supposed to say anything so I kept on writing and trying to be positive. I mentioned to him about his exection and I never knew from him if I was supposed to have talked about it or not.

I dont want him to think that Im saying goodbye cause I dont want him to think that im being negative but......... I also want to let him know that i care and that Im sad. Is it better to just keep on writing the same stuff and not to mention it???? would appreciate any advice you can offer, thanks in advance.

Wow ally. That is a touchy subject for me. I am still trying to figure out the same answers to the same questions.

I guess I would bring it up if they did. I am not sure what i would do. I have not got to this point yet with mine.

I have one that is set to be executed next month and he talks to me about it but I haven't asked the questions he just tell's me about how he feels etc. I don't think there is a wrong or a right way to write a letter and express yourself. I think if there are questions you would like to know I would ask him. I just think each person is different and just keep being the good friend that you are. Just knowing you are there for him helps him more than you know.

I think that if you have a close friendship with this guy you should express to him how u feel as you dont want to regret anything u might have wished you said but hadnt.
