What’s the best year of your life so far?

Not counting the birth of each of my kids and grandkids it would have to be October last year when I made contact with my Canadian siblings for the first time - then February this year when I met the first brother (smile)

I really don't have ONE year that stands out because every year has brought both good and bad things to me.
I'd like to think that this year could be a great one because I re-established contact after 10 years with my childhood best friend who I'm planning to see soon - lot of catching up to do!!
And also the start to new friendships with people on the inside that will hopefully keep going for a LONG time!

I have had so many great years I don't think I really deserve any more.

The years my kids were born.

The year I found the daughter I never knew I had.

The year my first book was published.

The year my first documentary hit a real live theater screen.

If I am entitled to one more great year it will be the one my Pen Pal gets her early release and gets the opportunity to show the world what a wonderful woman was buried so deep inside her all these years.

Yes, that will truly be a great year!

I was 17 - 18, I had just got married, and I had my first baby. I was just so happy that year. Had a real feeling of peace and contentment.

I would have to say it's been this year. At 38 I finally got an Associates degree. I've gotten the learning bug and will more than likely go on to at least a Bachelors degree. I found my pal who I think the world of. After 38 years of fertilizer, She's my flower : )

I have to say this year because my daughter was born, the year my son was born and the year my husband and I were married in the Bahamas.

This year. I am successfully living indepentently, unlike the previous eight years when I lived in group homes for the mentally ill.
