No i dont mean a lot of pep pils. Most of us need to lose a few or else are trying to keep it off. Damn, I was driving around and noticed some farmy type areas and chickens and animals and stuff. Nice environment.

I decided what the hell and asked if they needed any slave labor, ya know just help with animals, repairs, mucking stalls, whatever the hell they do on farms (city girl here). Man, they leap on it if you will do it for free. Unloading bails of hay, moving animals from pasture to pasture, loading up feed. You will sweat and ache!

I realize not everyone is near farm areas but anywhere people have yards or crappy jobs...they will put you to work! No gym membership required and you are out in the fresh air around cute little animals and such.

Great idea, and there is an additional benefit, those cow piles beautify the feet. :-)

I spent summers on my grandparents farm as a child growing up, no way would I do that kind of work for a stranger, for free!!! You are a better woman than me!

Well i like little animals like pigs (not so little) and cows, sheep, horses. Never got to see a whole lot of that as a kid. Anyway, it just beats a gym and membership fees.

No offence, but...how is anyone suppose to loose weight buy doing farm work??? You could get the same affect without the smelling of sweat and smelling like farm animals by just walking through your neighbor hood for an hour a day.

Well it all happened sort of gradually. I met a few people that lived on farms and stuff. Generally farmers are trusting people and Im a 5'3'' female so probably their guard was not up (-: Also i was interested in buying a breeding pair of rabbits so they were helping me with that. Once you get in good with one farm, others know you.
