Hi everyone!

I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about the Virginia prison system?

I have a new PP there, and I checked to see what his building looked like.

Is it more fair and is it as better overall
than the prisons in the deep South, specially Florida and Texas?

No background check is necessary for him. He's very upfront and truthful about everything. I don't need to know what he was like 10 years ago, because he's not that person anymore.

Hi Angelfire:

Some of the DOC websites have 'profiles' of all their prisons. Not much in the way of exterior shots, but some even have virtual inside tours of prisons. So you might go to the website and find out a little bit.

My Pen Pal is in Florida and from what I have been able to find out it really depends what prison they are in not the location by way of state. Some prisons are decades old, others only a few years, some are brand new. The prison she is in is relatively new, so as prisons go, it isn't so bad for her. But she started her time in another prison that was a relic.

I did look at the virtual tour of the cells and dining room. I suppose I'll just ask him. I know he has tons of other penpals, so I don't know when I'll get my second letter back.
