Yes,

I know you are right....it has been bad and HE IS VERY BUSY...I do know that. But why would he say "they don't sell them" ?????? THAT'S what bothers me. Of course they sell Valentine's Day Cards and he sent me a beautiful hand drawn card on my birthday...who knows????? With men, they sometimes don't think stuff through, I guess.

Thank you...I was about to snap on him...like he really needs that. Like I said, I am stressed out about his release...worried for him and sad to see him go after all this time. He says he wants to see me, but I have always kept in mind that he is in prison and not on his own terms. I really think when he gets out and starts living his life again, we will drift apart.

Thank you...

Sounds like you are feeling many emotions, and you know us women, many of us take little things like that to heart as we think it doesn't show they care. I hope you will end up being pleasantly surprised when he is released, as then he will be able to show you his true colors without restrictions. . Time will tell.

I knoowww...and thank you, seriously. There have been some issues this last year.....

This last year you just would not beleive....I feel bad for anybody having to be at that facility. He never had those problems before. Like I said, we are friends. It is a very busy time for him with all his issues lately and with getting ready for release. I'm just sad b/c I have always had it in mind that he is a man and when he is released he will have his life. I know I will not be a part of it the way I have been and I've grown used to having him with me. Everyday for the last four years I have had him in my mind, so it is really sad for me.

And you are right...he has done many thoughtful things for me and given me support when i needed it. It's just a very anxious time, I guess.

Thanks

Leelee, try to not concentrate on it, I mean four yrs is a long time so there has to be a the least a great care for you. You stated he never asked for money, it is a stressful time and thoughts will run wild.. Hang in there.

I sure can relate if not getting another pp, or not having one now besides him, after all those yrs the letters etc. Even when Jon got released and was here, it was so odd to not have the letters and calls, lol Like something was lost,or I was still expecting them, was hard believe it or not in very odd way even though he was here now in person. Go figure on that one

Thank you..actually, it reallydoesn't matter b/c he did write it in his letter. He did recognize and I know he is very busy, not just for getting ready for his release, but in handling his many issues right now. And I did get the most beautiful birthday card in the world....it really meant a lot to me. It was nice.

I'm just wigging out I guess.....no more pen pals for me. This one darn near killed me lol Ooohhhhh God!!!

thank you very much for listening and helping out...either way...he is very special to me and I just hope that he will be okay.

A friend of mine ordered a Valentines card this year off store, but when it came back it was a Christmas card. The store lady apologized saying she would refund the amount. My friend said in all honesty he was pissed, but he wanted to look at it anyway, not sure why. He said he insisted. Turns out he sent the card to me for Valentines day anyway. Sometimes what others see as mistakes only serves to teach us. He couldn't of sent a nicer card even if at the very end it said........MERRY CHRISTMAS. ......LOL[/QUOTE]

This shows that he made the best out of a bad situtation which is all anyone can do. I would have laughed when I got the card and been happy to get it. I laughed when I read this. Good story..lolol

Yellow, it was a really nicely worded card, but i did kinda think for a sec he was recycling..... That was until i read the letter. But also with this card was a hand made one that he got one of the guys to make. I am always left in awe of the talents some people have.
I have this thing for nice cards. I know this may sound strange, but sometimes they jump out at me as if to say that is what is needed. So he believed this was his moment. Turns out he was spot on. It was what i needed to hear/read.
