well, i received a letter from her today. and in it, she says that if i cannot understand that she has to do what she has to do in order to survive prison life, then oh well. she states that if i dont want to write to her anymore that she will understand and that she will be sad but that she will go on. that was the letter. comments anyone?

oh, and yes, i am thru with her. but i was just wondering what you thought.

oh, and one more thing...here is some good news!! while i was away last week, my neighbor watched my two dogs for me while i was gone, and we talked a lot this week over coffee and stuff like that. and we have a date tomorrow night!! YAY

Yes you are right , you should be done with her and you will find someone for a PP and all of this will pass. But yes you need to move on and be done with her.

I’m surprised the letter wasn’t more loving or apologetic; just as her friend was actually. I think she is taking for granted something that could’ve been wonderful but as you said you’re done and I think maybe that’s for the best. Obviously you know by now you deserve better, especially after talking about your values with her for what over a year? She knew what was expected on your end so there was no excuse for this. In the end I hope she sees what she’s missed out on and that she should better form her choices and her life if she’s going to keep anyone around for longer periods of time. It saddens me to see things like this happening to people just wanting the best for others. Anyway, I wish you luck with the date you’re going on and all the best for you in the future. Keep your chin up.

DavidDak-- I am sorry that you had to go through that with your PP. But what she did was WRONG, she did not have to do what she did to survive.
I have recently been going through a rough time with my PP and thought it was going to be over for us as well, but he stepped up to the plate and is getting therapy and counseling for his behavior and even tho things between us are not perfect, at least he decided that OUR relationship was worth working for and him working on some of his behavior issues is only going to make things better between us. And even if he and I do not make it, he will be a better man for taking the counseling and therapy.
I am happy that you have a date already :-) the last thing I wanted to do when we were at the worst of our problems was to be with any other man... so GOOD for you... NEXT !!! There are plenty of fish in the sea, and I wish you the best of luck !!

she sounds a little narsatistic to me she is making herself out like she did no wrong and either your ok with her flirting or you need to go well id be saying bye bye good luck and dont let the door hit you in the ass .People are somithing else they take kindness for weakness sometimes...gots to be more careful glade you through.
