Default Tomorrow is my pp parole hearing!!

Hi all!!, Well tomorrow is the day my pp goes before that board, I had asked a few weeks ago for your good wishes and he said to tell you all thanks for your thoughts!!
We talked last night and the both of us were so nervous. I could hear in his voice how unsure he is but trying to be positive. Anyway my question is if he does not get it how should I go about helping him get thru this?? I would appreciate any ideas. I don’t even want to go to work tomorrow I want to be by the phone waiting for his call!! Thanks

silverparrot...this can be an very stressful time for your PP...nevertheless...by you being there for him is the greatest gift you can give him...your continue support of comfort, encouragment...with words of love...will be the most you will be able to do for him...for your own peace of mind...credit yourself with what has been given to you...the gift to reach out in this kind of fashion, to inspire...to give vision to others to see the possilbity for a brighter future; that so many can not even fathom having...you, yourself are a unque person...let not this be a disappointment to you...chalk whatever may come out of his parole hearing as this fact...this is the way it can be for people in prison..learn from it...and strengthen your own fortitude, and commitment to stay by him during his time of trouble...Good Luck...gd4or

Hi Silverparrot -

Yes it so hard because you so want to be there for them. As Gd says, the best thing you can do is just be the friend that you are to your pal. When John went in front of the board he was so nervous but also so full of mixed emotions - anticipation, hope and also the fact that there could be a huge diassapointment. It then took 2 months for a decision which of course was a really frustrating time. The best you can do is just be you.

Keep us updated, I really hope that all goes well.

Hi Silverparrot,
I can only imagine how nervous your PP must be. If it were me, I would see my life flashing before my eyes.
Good luck with everything. I will have everything crossed and be praying for your PP. Let us know how it turns out.
Dave
