No they cannot catch a "case" sending in information like this, the worse that can happen .....it will be rejected and either destroyed at the inmates discretion or returned to sender stating why with a rejection slip. Nothing more.

As a whole I agree, depends on so many different things, the prison the state the individual it being sent to could cause more than a slight problem.
So in general it is best, flanders re verify the information with a few diff officals at the prison and gets names of who stated what. What would it hurt? Instead of the go for it anyhow.

We should not judge and assume it is because they do not want the inmate to have the information, find the facts is best from the horses mouth, then covers all for sure.

If your friend is in Pontiac Tamms does not apply as you know, but they are able to have this information, it is posted on the DOC website. Just got off the phone, get him to speak to his counselor. Maybe what the mail room clerk meant when you were told they were not allowed to send this was because the FULL version is 51 pages.

But of course it is the full version that he is interested in, I think he is aware of the résumé and would like the background information as that explains better what exactly is being thought about. So will call them on Monday (guess they don't work during the weekend ?), but I seriously doubt they will ever let it through, as they are very strict in applying policies and I think this is information related to the correctional system which is prohibited (vaguely remember having read that somewhere).
