I'm planning to visit my PP in Stateville early next year & was wondering if any of you could share your experiences of the place & Joliet in general, like any good places to stay etc. Any/all help will be much appreciated
It's a long way to go & i'm nervous at the very thought!

There are motels near the Prison. Joliet has nice areas and bad areas....Look up areas like Lockport, IL and Crest Hill. They are really close to the prison and decent areas. As for visiting at statesville, maybe someone else could help
