'Tis the season that most of you will be thinking of doing that little extra something for your penpal. It is the time when many of you will be sharing information and resources with other WAP forum members, suggesting gifts to send to penpals, where to get them, and how to send them.

We absolutely encourage this, without exception !!

Keep in mind, however, that WAP is supported by its advertising partners and penpal ad placement. There is no other income generation method to support the costs of maintaining this website, which clearly is FREE for all of you to enjoy.

Posting helpful website links is not, in itself, prohibited. There are many resources available on the net which enhances your communication with your penpal, and many of those sites are free to access and free to use. We welcome the posting of such links.

Before you post the website link, INVESTIGATE it. If the link brings you to a site that DIRECTLY offers products and services for a fee, it cannot be posted on this forum. Simply put, the website link will be removed, and the member posting it will receive a caution notice from Moderators.

Our suggestion is this: if you find a website that offers goods and services that will assist you or your penpal, and that website charges for those goods and services, AND if you feel that it would be helpful to another member of this forum, do the following:

Post a brief explanation of what the website offers, and invite others to PM or email you directly to obtain the link to that website. Do so without revealing the NAME of the website or the name of the company.

This will keep things simple, achieve the positive end result, and help you comply with the rules of this forum.
