Hello to you and since you are in the wonderful State of Indiana and my penpal is signing me up for a visit, my question to you is "What are the Rules for Visiting" for example at Terre Haute?

Had a pal at Terre Haute but never visited him there. He's the one I just visited last week in Michigan City.

Most of the facilities are the same: No dressing like the offenders, only jewelry allowed in is a wedding ring (some facilities will allow you to wear pierced earrings, some won't). There's a certain amount of change you can take in for the vending machines. Some say no to sleeveless blouses, no see-through clothing or skirts that are too short.

That's about it. For more info, call the visiting clerk at the facility.

Somehow, I don't imagine you'd violate the clothing policy. LOL!

Do go go boots count? It makes me wonder how many on this forum remember those.

I may be in my late 30's but I do remember Tina Sinatra. That song was sort of catchy. LOL!!! Midwestern is right about calling ahead just to see if thye have their own policy about visits. I have visited people in a few different facilities here in Indiana and they were pretty much the same with a few modifications to suit that particular prison.

I have not been to the prison in Terre Haute but I did go to college there so if you need any pointers of the area I might be able to dig some info out of the cobwebs of my brain.

Can't wait to see you guys next weekend. Be careful on your drive up.
