| The reason why I am asking this is because my pen pal in Maryland said that he had to put a request in writing closer to the time he was getting out for the exact release date. I was just wondering if this was true or is this man is feeding me a bunch of bull. Also about the home plan: How far in advance does this have to be put in and once it is approved does it have to be strictly followed. Like where this person is going to live ect. |

| HI vivainv73...each and every state's DOCs vary greatly when it comes to parole and release. The only reason I can think of as to why he would have to submit a written request for an 'out date' is if' he's lost some good time, or if he's being notified by a parole board of his out date. I explained this in "part 1" of your last post concerning this. As for if the paole plan is strictly inforced, that will depend on his parole officer (they seem to have their views on how the 'rules' are written). However, I can tell you that pretty much every state wants and needs to know where their parolees are at all times when it comes to their living arrangements. I did my parole plan in an afternoon and got it approved that day as well, of course mine was really simply. Plastercat |
