Default is it a problem?

Hi, I'm new to the whole wap thing and only posted my first letter the other day. The thing is I didn't put my return address in the body of the letter as I'd enclosed an envelope for them to use with my address on it and I also put my address on the envelope I sent their letter in but now I am starting to worry that they wont get the envelopes and they will only get the actual letter. Does anyone know if this is likely to happen? I also sent an international stamp coupon (as I'm in Australia) but something I read in another thread made me think they may not get that either.

hi and welcome aboard as for your question some of the prisons allow and others don't you'd have to check with the prison he is in he'll be able to see your address on your return envelope if your worried then send him a letter with your address in it this way you know he has it ...happy writing

I have written to people in different prisons all around the country. In every instance, they get to keep the envelope. The problem is that sometimes the return address on the envelope gets cut off because they use some kind of machine to cut open the envelpes to inspect them first and sometimes the return address gets cut off and the pp never sees it. So, including it in the body of the letter is good. So you could always write the person again just to say hi and to make sure they had your address. No harm in that.

Will
