The TV show prison was banned in all Michigan prisons My pp told me that the TV in each housing unit you will not be able to watch the show . She says they could not block it from the TV,s inside the cells but anyone caught watching the show will get a major ticket. Michigan is the only state that I know that has this ban . My pp told me no TV show is worth getting a major ticket. She went to her cell and read a book (GOOD GIRL). I did not watch the show myself but was reading about it today and from what I gather it,s petty stupid. A guy go,s to prison to free his brother. Now come on I think you would have a better chance being on the outside to break him out. He tattoos the blue prints of the prison on his chest I could go on about how dumb the show is. I would write to the head of DOC but when I got done he might just have another ban.He might just ban me from seeing my pp hee hee

The show is so unrealistic, and so far fetched and yes how stupid that they would get a ticket from watching this show.

Why am I not surprised? Heck! I sent a roadmap of the state of Michigan, to my PP, and they rejected that too. Some of those people just don't have any sense of humor.

Gosh this is kind of a funny thread. I guess I can understand the reasoning behind banning "Prison Break" even if it does seem kind of silly. Im sure they just dont want anything shown that would initiate that kind of thought process or overt disrespect of authority. I wonder if Blake was leaving out any details as to the exact reasons behind it like perhaps it was a punishment of some kind.
