I have a PP in Alabama who is due for parole tomorrow (11th April). WE don't talk on the phone because it is too expensive for me but we have been writing for a long time. Does anyone know if it is possible to find out if an inmate in alabama has been granted parole or not?

see it it is on ADOC , I have no idea if that site can help or not. But that is someplace to start.

Just to let you know sometimes it takes up to 4 weeks before they get an anwser.

Call the facility or wait for his letter.

I think that penbeach is on the right track. I was just in the Oregon DOC site and they had a phone number for the parole board. So, Alabama might also. If not, you may be able to find a number somewhere on the internet. I would try to give them a call.
