I have gotten "the look" a few times at the post office, but much more so when I wire her money at the local Wal Mart. I have heard comments from the staff there, but I have so far held my tongue. I just kind of laugh to myself that these people blurt out comments, when not a one of them knows what they are talking about. may favotite is " Wow, that is a lot of money to send to someone that is given everything they need".

nope x-ray i think its just the abusive ones so your safe !i'll admitt i have lied to the post office before lol told them it was my step brother when i was asking how much something weighed now i could care less but when i first started writing i was very a tune to the looks maybe and probaly it was my own paranoia lol now i ask my mail man is it bills or good mail he hands me my letters with a smile on his face and if its from my friend he says good mail today !

they used to look at me like i was an alien, like what is wrong with you writing to an inmate, they used to point but now i go to a post office and everyone in there feels its not there business to judge

maybe it's just me but realy never had a weird look or whatever,they look me right in the eyes,no talk behind my back just nothing and if they don't like it not my problem!!

I have pen pals everywhere, and I mean EVERYWHERE, all over the world. The only time I've gotten strange looks is if one of my forgien pen pals sent me a letter with not enough postage. Some of them send their letters in funky envelopes (one of my pen pals doodles all over her's!!) so they will look at it, and sometimes say something like "oh thats neat" or sometimes, "interesting stamps they got there". But I've yet to get any strange looks from the employee's. And I've had the PO Box so long now that they don't even blink when I hand them something from one, or get something from them. Except one time, 2 years ago, when a new girl started working there, a buddy of mine had sent me a drawing, in one of those big business sized envelopes, and he was 0.15 short on postage. When I went up to the counter to get it, she went to the back to pick it up, came up to the counter, showed me the front and say's "You want this?" with her finger pointing to the return address. I said yes. She just said ok, I paid the 0.15, and that was that. She never looked at me funny, just seemed to want to make sure I actually wanted it. She doesn't even ask now.

I had to chase the post office driver down once because he wouldn't deliver my bfs mail... this was after I changed my address when I moved. I had to explain to him that I always receive mail like this.

I've never had problems at the post office. I rarely ever go in there unless it's to buy stamps. If my letter is heavey I just put alot of stamps on there and throw it in the mail box. But when I do go in to get stamps or mail out a letter, I never have any problems.

If I did get a problem though, I'd show them whose boss if you know what I mean! lol
