Just wondering, should I just send a photo to them or just keep waiting.... It's really not that big a deal but,,, I'm waiting and nothing... I didn;t give my home address, I have a PO Box in PA, which is just over the bridge (Over the river) but I'm tired of going over there and just getting junk mail in the box,, pisses me off hahah!!!!

At this point, I would just wait til you get a reply. If you get no reply within 4-6 weeks, maybe its time to shop some new contacts? Persoannly, I usually wait to send a photo with the 2nd letter and/or once I am certain the pp is interested in writing me. But many peopls do send photos with th intro letter. Right now I think you ahould jusat wait for a reply befor sending out a photo.

Angelus said it all.With the photo it's all up to you,how you feel about it.I startet out sending my photo with a intro letter,but then I picked more and I just send a Intro letter without any photo.It's nice to put a face to somebody,but it's also nice to get to know somebody first.

I put my photo with my intro letter. I figured fair was fair since I already knew what they looked like.

ugghhhhhh pictures.........I didnt wanna scare them away before they started writing to me....hehe Most of my pals have a picture of me and i think it took a while for them to get one too! Do whatever you feel comfortable with!!

They should have some idea who they are writing back to, ya know? Putting a face to the words!

It's my own personal opinion, and although many people like to put a "face with the name/writing", doing so initially to elicit a response seems a little superficial.

I would venture a guess that one can capture another's interest through written communication. If there is no interest there, through that written medium, then there is no interest. Should the person suddenly decide to write because of receiving a photograph, (or in some cases STOP writing because of it) then it's clear their interest is intrinsic, and not intelligent.

Hey, No nothin yet.. I checked my PO Box yesterday. I'm just gonna let those two go for now... I wrote to two more guys Monday night...lol... We'll if they respond. I was on the site that has the people that arent receiving mail the other day, and saw someone else I'd love to write to, sooo I think I'll give him a whirl...ooooohh why not right? SOMEBODY"S GOT TO WRITE BACK SOMETIME. You know what they say, the more hooks you have in the water, the better chances you'll have to hook somehting?
