Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone knows how many phone minutes an inmate at Federal prison are allowed. Thanks for any help.

Hello... It has been my experience that inmates who are in a federal prison only have 15 minutes per call. This may not be the case with every federal facility though. Hope this helped!

You should visit the Federal Bureau of Prisons Website:

www.bop.gov

Once there, click on "Inmate Info" in the left column. In the new window in the center, click on "inmate programs and services".

Scroll down and click on "Visiting, Telephones, and Correspondence". That will open another list. In that list, you'll click on "Telephone Regulations for Inmates".

That will open up a list of regulations. When it does, scroll down to regulation number "5264.07" and click on it. This will then open a .pdf file (Adobe). You will then be able to read the entire regulation concerning telephones in the Federal Prisons.
