I'm from the new york area and I'm thinking about making a visit to my ppp in Pelican bay state prison in crescent city. I'm so nervous about it because I think I'm beginning to have feelings for him that I'm not quite ready to deal with right now, i told him I would in the future.I find the mail is very slow, it appears to go to nearby Eureka, CA, then out to new york. Any advice?

If you do go make sure you also set out time to enjoy the coast there. I lived in eureka for 4 years. Quite a beautiful area. Greg

The only advice that I can think of is don't get cold feet and back out. I know that you are nervous, but it will be a memorable day.

Hi Ronni -- I know exactly how you feel. I have my pp in PBSP-SHU and I'll be visiting him the first week of November along with another WAP person whose pp is also there! I'm also from New York -- the Bronx to be exact! I never intended my relationship to go as far as it's heading, I just wanted to have a penpal, so I understand fully what you're going through. Thanks everyone for your input, its very helpful. It will be a very long and expensive trip, but thats not even the point because once I make up my mind, I'll do it. Unfortunately, it won't be until for a couple of months due to finances.
