Hi, I am new here.I wrote two penpals
about two weeks ago but havn't received a response from either one. Should I write again or just write to others? I only want two or three penpals not a whole bunch.Any advise

There are many things that control the response time.

Such as: does the inmate have supplies to write, or is he/she waiting to go to the commissary?

Is the prison on lock down?

Is the mail room moving slow?

Give it some time, you will hear something

Agreed...give it some more time. It took me over 4 weeks to hear back from a couple of mine. Jail mail is a world apart from regular mail.

Ok, from reading some of the posts I
guess mail takes longer when it goes thru the prison system. Hope I hear from them soon. I have been anxious about it!
