Driving while suspended. Class 4 felony believe it or not.
The original DUI charge was a misdameanor.
My first traffic offense ever. Birthday thing with a group of people who lead me to believe that I should have a few shots of ta-kill-ya to celebrate my new found freedom and the day of my birth all rolled into one. I was stopped two blocks from home for changing lanes without my blinker. I was the only car on the road.
I blew barely over the limit. Drunk drivers always say this, but I was in no way too impaired to drive.
Classified as minimal risk and slapped on the wrist.
But later after my permit expired, when I had to get fifteen miles to work in the cold, my sober and responsible driving was a felony. Imagine that?

I had a dwi ten years ago and stopped right then and there. It just means money!
