Default Martha Stewart ;)

Looks Like Martha may need a pen-pal or two

She got 5 months of time to serve, then 5 months house arrest, a fine and some probation....

Lifestyle guru Martha Stewart was sentenced to five months in prison, five months house arrest and two years' probation for lying to investigators about her 2001 sale of ImClone Systems stock. She must also pay a $30,000 fine. In a statement after this morning's hearing in New York, Stewart pledged "I'll be back." Hours later, former stock broker Peter Bacanovic was sentenced to five months in prison and two years' probation; he was fined $4,000.

The story can be read at http://www.cnn.com/

I offered the job of PP to my cousin. I told her that she has so much in common with Martha----she carries the Martha Stewart line of things in her house from K Mart.

I think Martha is appealing the sentence tho? Could be another year or so, before you guys get to see her new "Cell" decor range.

The newspaper showed aerial pics of her various estates. Apparently, her home arrest period can be at any of them. She has some rather special places to call home!

But the bad thing about the home arrest period is that ugly, clunky ankle bracelet she'll have to wear!

Ankle scarves will become the fad.

Personally I would not consider an appeal on a 5th month sentence. I mean She could make the best of it and teach her cell mates decorating tips 5 months is probaby as good as she will get...
