another question. do any of you ever ask about there crimes in your letters too them,or do you only ask the once then leave it alone.. or have some of you never asked at all and just looked things up for yourself.myself i asked the once and he answered me truthfuly then i never asked again. just a question.. thanks again

I didn't have to ask my pal what he did, he opened this subject with me on about the third letter. He also gave me the names of some web sites I could look up to read more about his past crimes which landed him in prison a few times before. He wanted me to know about his past, just to clear the air with that..to show me he has nothing to hide from me and to help us build trust.

Casa - with my pp who is in for murder, I didn't ask, nor did I look up the crime, or go hunting for the information. He is an adult, the damage is done and about the 3 or 4th letter he started talking about his crime, his life and how he got there.

He talked about and gave me information about the details for a 2 or 3 more letters and then we are off to other subjects. I send my pp's uplifting cards and we talk about positive stuff. No negative stuff out of me.

thanks for your replies..and yes sometimes they do tell you of there own back or some never mention it.it depends on the person i guess...
