I know I already posted, but just wanted to say how easy that was. I printed the 3 letters, signed and addressed them. I'm going to be sending them out today, I already stamped them so I will be forced to send them out and not forget.

Everyone should take 2 minutes and do the same.

The owner(s) of this website should dedicate a part of it to quotes from prisoners and penpals talking about how they've positively affected each other's lives.

Thanks to all of you for speaking out. I know that it's hard not to get mad, but sometimes I think those people are there just to try to make us mad - it works on me too. Best to rise above it. Hard when the mud slinging starts from the word go though. I think a lot of people just maintain a very negative image on prisoners in general. Hard to sway everyone, but we lead by example. The inmates have that choice too. Let's just keep doing what we do.

Twilight, VERY GOOD suggestion! We have prison quotes, quotes from inmate members about the solitude, but we do not have such a section, and that would be VERY powerful. I am adding it a very long list of things to do. I will put it together and hand it off to our programmer. As the mods can tell you, this takes a while, but it WILL get done. There are so many stories I'd like for the world to see. I guess I rely on the forum for that, but this is a better idea.

i cannot believe some of the posts on this issue , i advised one poster called "observe" to do exactly that, some of the posts were really degrading and inhumane, im glad that i dont live there, and maybe run the risk of being incarcerated for a silly crime and then be treated like the lowest of the low, do people not realise that all criminals are not in for murder/rape/ etc, and they use to be the nice neighbour that use to live next door, and whom they frequently use to have great conversations with, or invite into there homes, its amazing what a lable put on something changes everything

I think we need a Priest for Hillary , to preform an exorcism on her !!!
