I found this guy on WAP a couple weeks ago. His ad is gone. (expired maybe) I wrote to him, he wrote back and I tried to look up his info on VA DOC, which gives basically nothing. It just seems to me that he is doing an awful lot of time for the crimes he says he is in for. Plus, I looked up Wallens Ridge State Prison (in Virginia)and it seems to be a high security facility. Anyone know how I can get more info? All I know about him is his name Kenneth W. Arnold 182790 and he is in the above facility. Lived in Northern Virginia before that. Any help would be great. Thanks.

I also searched Va. looking for an old friend in hopes that I wouldn't find him back in prison, and Va. doesn't give much info. Does each state set their own rules on what info. they want to give out?

No, he's been there since 1992 if that helps at all. I found him in the VA DOC, but like I said, it only shows when he is eligible for parole and when his projected release date is. Nothing about why he's there.

Still no luck. I have a feeling he might not be revealing the entire truth with this "statutory burglary" conviction. You're correct, he's been sentenced to quite a stretch and he's housed in a "level 5" facilty, which is maximum in Va., or one step away from administrative segregation. Maybe he's escaped in the past, though I think I would have been able to find something about that. Also, though I somehow doubt it, he may have been a minor when he committed the crime(s), which might explain the lack of coverage in the news. Will try some more, but it doesn't look good.

He did say he was in for drugs, an escaped back in '92 while still in jail. Got caught the next day. It just seems like a long term for those things.

There you go, that explains quite a bit about the long stretch and the high security.Still can't imagine why it's so hard to find something concrete, though.

Was he in Virginia all along? I did find something on a Kenneth Arnold in California.
