I have heard from several members of Prison Talk Online that the John Walsh Show contacted Prison Talk Online and asked for members to appear on the John Walsh Show. The producer claimed that it was going to be an even handed show....turned out to be nothing more than a bashing session against people on the outside who are pen pals with offenders.... If true...then I would be very careful people in relaying this request to the offenders you contact.... Granted a victim does need closure and an apology, but not at the expense of dehumanizing and bashing an offender who has already been paying the price for their crime. So, if you do relay this information to your offenders, you might want to also mention that there is a risk of possibily being subjected to false pretenses.
