Default John Ritter....

....whose portrayal of the bumbling but lovable Jack Tripper helped make the madcap comedy series "Three's Company" a smash hit in the 1970s, died of a heart problem after falling ill on the set of his new TV sitcom. He was 54.
I was really shocked when I read this, shows you how short life really is.
Makes me think if all this childish bikering is really important....probably not!
Have a great day and give the ones you love a hug!

Am I wrong, or wasn't Johnny Cash an ex-inmate? I do remember that he sometimes performed in prisons.

DUH!

"Johnny Cash made Folsom Prison famous with the 1956 #1 hit "Folsom Prison Blues". Though he sings about being stuck in Folsom Prison, he never really was an inmate. He did spend some time in various county jails during his youth, but he was not an actual prisoner of Folsom's famous maximum-security prison. "

Kimberly:

That is so true. The interesting thing is that he capitalized on the rumor that he HAD served time in prison. He admitted that during an interview with Johnny Carson several years ago, actually quite early in his career.

Even after that admission, he never addressed the issue again, and was never asked about it again. Everyone seemed to just "accept" that he had that background, and it became part of his legacy (as false as it was).

Now, THAT'S marketing.

I am also shocked by the deaths of two very talented people. John Ricter, one of my favourites in his his new show 18 ways to not date my daughter, or whtever, I really liked him.

Johnny Cash, a real treasure, who cares if he served in Bolsom? My spelling is out the window by the way. I believe his wife died a short time ago, I hope they can be together now without any hassle. More talent has left us.....sad day
