Most Texas prison have restricted inmate to inmate mail however they can get special permission to write to some of their kin or loved ones who are incarcerated. Does anyone out there know how to check archives for exoffenders? I am especially seeking one that was in Angola from 1945-1952 and also cut his archilles tendon to bring attenton to the horrendous conditions and that did work for them. However he is dead now and took it to the grave with him. Any help would be appreciated.

Well anyway, yea Josh told me about the e-mail. It's coming before 2012 though. I heard that they have to pay for it though. It's like a dollar for every e-mail that they send out. So I dont think their going to be using it often. Prob just if they need to tlak to you asap or they want to inform you of something.
