Dragonfly,,,ok but lets take another look,,,I dont have the blow by blow and maybe you can fill in the blanks if u want,,,isnt manipulation a trait that comes about from being in a seemingly helpless state of existance???,,,here you have a man that was once free and able to do things on his own,,even simple things like getting into his car and going to a movie,,,and now he cant even poop without asking permission,,no fault of yours but He is what his situations has created in him and maybe most?? so now you come along,,the prospect of marriage grows,,which from what I have experienced even free people think they are gaining a maid, a mama, a go-fer, a honey -Do ect and you start to pump the brakes on marriage,,he has already been thinking of the benefits every second of every day for a while now,,,You back up,,but the benefits are still golden in his mind,,he has got to get those bennies by any means necessary,,, so he plays hard ball and moves on to the next whom perhaps is more willing and he gets something he wants accomplished seemingly on his own ( probably more in his mind than anything else,dunno how many free chicks want to marry in to a life sentence but they do exist). Yes he is tactless,,but why wouldnt he be considering his siutation,,,his social skills have been steadily declining,,and tact is one of them.
