Default I am new here and need assistance please

Hi, what I tell you people might seem farfetched but evey bit is true. I live in Africa/Namibia a place called Walvis Bay, on the west coast. I have a large sailing boat and in thi small society I can nor find a lady. I dont know how, but found this site and I am trying to contact a prisoner. Our mail is too slow and unreliable. I have written a mail (initial mail) to make contact. But the lady may have been released already. I dont know if forwarding mail is done once somebody is released.
I am also not sure what it means if she is released on parole? Will she be allowed to leave the USA and join me here?
I am book author, designer, do not smoke or drink and she would be in good hands.
Would anyone of you living in the USA be prepared to help making contact via email so that I am informed when she is released. If anybody is willing to help, I would be ever so thankful, but to send money for compensation is nigh impossible due to foreign exchange restrictions.
Thank you
Winfried

Hi Winfried..
Welcome to WAP! =). I'm no expert on this however I do know that once a prisoner is released they can't leave the country. They don't have permission to have a passport until their parole time has ended...Once the parole time has ended, they can then apply to leave the country but also it then depends on your countries laws on granting entry to someone with prison history...I know not all countries grant entry to someone who has spent more than 12 months in prison. There are ways around that but it's very complicated. If your pen pal has been released already, the prison won't send on her mail, so unfortunatly, she may not get it. To find out if she has been released, you can try looking on the Department Of Corrections website of her state, most states give out this information however some dont. If you need any further help, let us know here....this forum is very helpful and supportive....
Good Luck.
