How did you choose your PP? What made you want to write to that particular person?

I chose my PP becuase I liked his descpription. He had a funny sense of humor. Let me just say, I did NOT come on here looking for a "companion", but when I saw him, he REALLY just caught my eye, and I thought, "Wow hes CUTE"!!..OHH boy, Im so selfish...ha!

I chose my first PP because she had a very nice smile and she simply asked for a friend to help her do her time.
The fact that she was gay meant nothing to me, but maybe it did to her. Because she only wrote two or three times before saying that she didn't want to write any more.
Well, to make a long story short, I have continued to write to her about once every six weeks, and she has responded about once every three months, telling me thank you and that my letters do mean a lot to her. So, that makes it all worthwhile. Even if I can't see it, I am glad that I put a smile on her face.
And then, my #1 PP, I found on a different site. All she had posted was a photo along with name and address. But, maybe there were some vibes. Because I felt that this was a lady who needed a friend. And . . oh how right I was. She has turned out to be a wonderful friend and she has told me many times that I saved her life. She was in the depths of despair. She had only received two responses to that ad. Mine and one other, which she said was disrespectful and perverted.
Where will this all end? I wish I knew. I hope that in the interim she gains her freedom. But our friendship won't end until death do us part.

I really don't know how I chose my Pal. It just kind of happened!

I initially wrote to two women....and I got two responses...but there was just something about my Pals letter that made me want to choose her.

I am glad I did. She is wonderful! She is my friend!

I was dared to write to him by my friends. Haven't looked back since. My pal also doesn't care about my reasons for writing him (trying to be sneaky to find out about his case) he is just glad that I did... Me too!

My good friend chose me i'm sure of it. I kept on being called back time and time again to his ad untill i just finally gave up and wrote him (smile) as i had no intention of writting anyone just was up for a stickybeak. My new pp i wrote to because of his crime and what happend and what was stated while researching the death penalty. He did not place an ad up for a pp nor was he looking for one but has since said how glad he is i was thinking about him and decided to write. (i actually asked you guys what you thought before i did so) So maybe the both of us should be thanking you for all the positive replies. (smiles)

I didnt choose my pal, angelwithbadbreath chose him for me. Wrote a letter and still waiting for reply :-)

One had a lovely smile and sounded really interesting - we also had alot in common.

The other one I chose because his sister had written the sweetest introduction.She explained that he had made alot of mistakes in his past but was a good person who deserved a second chance.

I chose my first pp because we have similar interests and he has a daughter the same age as mine. Seemed sincere. The second one i chose because he said straight up, i dont know any fancy talk, i just need a friend, someone to spend this time with me, he is in for life on Calis 3 strikes law. All non violent crimes.
