Hi: How or If you can send stamps to your penpal depends on the prison your penpal is in, also how many books at a time.I have called the prison my penpals are in to find out what the "rules" are for sending stamps. I have found most prisons to be very cooperative in telling me what I need to know regarding "rules." I would also ask your penpal.(Your penpal should know the rules regarding stamps as well.) I always write on the back flap of the envelope if there are stamps inside, just to keep the staff that distributes the mail honest and to let my penpal know that there are stamps in my letter.

i have done that, sent 8-10 stamps instead of book, it is a good idea to write on outside of envelope stamps included and how many, thats what i do and i also write in letter how many i enclosed, that is one of the few things i can say good about fladoc, we can send stamps, hope that helps, i like to send stamps to my p/p, when i can, i am sure your pal will really appreciate the stamps
