Default Help Help Legal Help

I have several things that I want to ask , but I'll ask these first. We are in Iowa , where do I go to get a county jail investigated, why can't my son have a lawyer instead of a public defender, isn't it illegal for the Public Defender, Judge, Investigator, and Prosecutor on the same cases have lunch together? This don't sound right. My son has lost over 100 pounds in a county jail while waiting for trial.Any help will be appreciated. You can also e-mail me if you want. bubbasfish@yahoo.com

I can tell you it is not totally uncommon for men and women working in the legal profession to have lunch together. I see if all the time. Mikeinpa.

bubbasfish:

It very much depends on WHAT you think needs to be investigated. An answer to your question cannot be fomulated without some details.

As far as participants on "both sides" of the combat arena playing golf, having lunch, enjoying a weekend cookout together....perfectly legal, and quite common.
