I know allot of people in here have several pp and I think that's great

Yep- I starting writing last october and wrote to one inmate for about 8 months- i didn't want to write anyone else. I think that feeling of "betrayal" has to do with some underlying emotions of luv. haha. am i right !?!

Thanks for the reply hoodwink

It can actually go both ways also....I just received a letter a couple days ago from my PP. He stated that he received letters from 3 other people and he said he is not going to write them because he enjoys our relationship immensely and that I have his undivided attention. We exchange 3 letters in a 7 day period. So I keep him busy. As much as I enjoy hearing that I think I will reply to him and tell him that he should at least send them a quick note acknowledging he received their letter and let them know he doesn't have time for another PP or something along those lines. I see people ask all the time why they don't get replies. Guess that could be 1 reason. If an inmate grows strong serious feelings for someone then they may not be interested in writing anyone else either.

Guys don't get that wrong it's just the way I see it. I think that's a real short time of writing to say I'm in love with that pp. I mean what do you guys know about them in two three months? And isn't it a bit selfish that he should tell the otherones he's to busy to write anyone else. You guys are having friends on the outside he's not supposed to have other friends???Just because he could fall for someone else? My guy is also locked up so I shouldn't judge on someone, but the difference is I've met him before he went to Prison. And he knows about my pp. At least enjoy the writing and get to know eachother alot better than now...

Oh how well I know this feeling all too well. I've been writing to my pp now for 3 1/2 years now. I did try writing to another pp a time or two, but I only received 1 letter from them and never heard from them after that even after replying to their letter. Now, with hindsight being 20/20, I now realize I may have said things in the letter that caused them not to write back as my "underlying emotions" must have come through in my reply letters to them. Yes, I found myself feeling guilty and betrayal on my part. Like most of you, I can only speak for myself and I can't see myself writing to anybody else but him.

Thank you all for you replies. I can relate to most opinon's. I would never ask my pp to not write anyone else. I want him to have as much outside contact as possible. As for my self I will not be writing anyone else. He keeps me busy...we keep each other busy
