Default Got my first letters!
Well everyone, I got my first letters from 4 of the inmates I have written, it was really cool reading them, they all thanked me for taking the time to write to them, they also respected the fact that I was in a committed relationship and hope that they don't interfere with that, they also say how lonely it is for them, that is why I write to them, I have been lonely before and it isn't a pretty feeling, if everyone could reach out to someone who is lonely I guarentee (sp?) they will feel like a million bucks, I do right now. Ps Kenny one of the letters was from Raymond, you're right he is a good guy, thank you for giving me his name I think he may be one of my best pen pals! Take care everyone, Darlene

Dar,isn't compassion grand?It takes special people like you to reach out to others in need. I bet the inmates you wrote are anxiously waiting for their next letter from you. It means sooooo much to them.
