Ok first off how are 'yall today?I hope God has blessed you all with beautiful weather whereever you are!I know he sure has here!Anywho,I am going to meet my PP next month for the first time!I feel like a kid waiting on Chrsitmas!Any one have any advice as what to expect or how it will be?Well I was in prison myself to for a short time,but no one ever came to see me so I really dont know what to expect.I posted a thread a while back on the feelings I have for him so I guess that may be what makes me nervous.Oh well hope to hear from 'yall soon!

well that would depend on the kind of prison or his custody status more info would help

expect to be a little nervous. Hope for a cute CO when you go through security.

What to expect varies widely from prison to prison as far as the procedures you have to go through. Important thing is to make sure you can make it through the metal detector. I visit my husband 4 times a week and I see a lot of new comers that can't make it through for something as simple as wearing an underwire bra and they won't let them in.

i wore an under wire and after 2 tries they let me in

Oh sorry! He is a medium security complex in Kentucky.Green River Correctional Complex.No underwire is no problem.I just had 18 pounds of breast re moved from a breast reduction surgery last monday so even the thought of underwire scares me lol.

My BF is at EKCC in KY, you will find the CO's to be very helpful. Since he is medium security you will have a face to face in the visiting room. If you live outside KY try to get an extended visit. They usually allow me 3 hours vs the normal 2

Thank you!I have been trying to find out how much longer you get for the special visit.I am driving up from Mobile,AL.I swear it has been like jumping through hoops to get on his visitor list since I was in prison myself.I had to get a letter from the Governor saying that I'm changed.I'm not even on probation or anything,but it has still been tough.Thanks

Have your pp work on the extended visit on his end. My BF always takes care of that for me.
