Greetings!
Where can I find a list of prisoners interested in playing games by mail? Games like chess, checkers, scrabble... anything that could be played on a piece of paper sent through the mail.
I enjoy these kinds of games and wouldn't mind adding a few pals that had these specific interests.

Doh!! I just found the keyword search in "advanced search" on the inmate ads and entered "chess" and it popped up 5 pages of people to choose from!!

Ray,
I never imagined I would be playing checkers or chess or scrabble by mail until I started writing death row inmates. It seems they are all really good at chess and play it in their cells with one another.
So, if you don't find one straight away, I suggest finding a dr inmate.

I didn't find any DR inmates with "chess" in their ad, but I found several lifers that did. I picked the three that looked like they didn't fit as well into population and figured I'd write them and see how it goes.

Cool - I didn't know that the advanced search would pick up such things. I used to have a pal who enjoyed crosswords and wordsearches - I found a great website that had a different crossword each day..I'll see if I still have the link... Puzzle Choice - Crosswords, word search puzzles, online games, online puzzles |
