Hi peoples,

I just responded in another thread about a pp of mine who had mixed up letters and sent me a letter she had written for someone else. I wanted to say more on that but I didn't want to de-rail the thread and take it in another direction.

I will be returning that letter and ending correspondence with her. However, there is an interesting set of dynamics here...

First of all, I could care less if she is writing a dozen people or more and what her relationships with those people are. Her relationships with others is none of my business. However, in her relationship with me she has told me that she is not writing anyone else. She has further said that as a matter of self-respect, she would never write what she refers to as 'sex letters'. She has lied to me twice. That is my business. Trust is the basis for my any of my relationships, when you violate that - game over.

The really sad part about this is, I truly think that her relationship with this other person is a diversion and means nothing. I also believe that her relationship with me is very meaningful to her. And yet she has lost it. I really think she will be crushed.

Anyway, I could be completely wrong... doesn't matter, just interesting thought matter...

I certainly see where you are coming from, and totally repsect your decision, as should she.

The way I see it is if you can not trust, you can not have a friendship or any relationship for that matter, period.

I hope that this does not prevent you from picking up a pen and paper and finding someone out there who may indeed be in need of an honest and loyal friend, such as yourself.

The odd twist is,sure you did not ask her if writing others,and she just threw out the lie.

Second stating she would not write sex letters being thrown out there too.

Good thing it came out soon and can find someone who would love to have some letters and be able to be honest and enjoy writing.

Is this the one with cancer also? Hmmm. Well I certainly can see why you no longer wish to write her and Skye and I sort of think its possible the mail room folks saw what was going on here and this little "mix up" was not so desperately random as one might initially suspect.

You say its a sex letter? Like just pure wack off material or what? I ask, not because Im a perv, but in fact because I wonder if that is the ONLY thing she has going with this other gentlman and in that case, well, ya know, we always say on here they are in prison and cut them some slack.

Its up to you and the best thing might simply be to cut this pony loose. She seems to wild. You looking for a new pen pal now?
