| I visited my niece yesterday & she told me they just gave her pictures yesterday morning that I'd sent in a Valentine's card over a month ago. This was a picture of her daddy (the only picture I had of him) who died when she was a baby. Why do the facilities hold mail back for inmates. She hasn't been receiving any from me & many have been sent back. Also, a couple of you guys write her & they'd sent yours back also. This is a small county jail (pop in the hundreds), not a large prison facility (pop in the thousands). I really don't know why they would hold it & give it to her over a month later. LD, any suggestions?

| A similar thing has been happening lately with my letters too. Apart from shortage of staff in the mail room,or things like the Xmas influx of mail, the only reason I can think of is "because they can" |

| Because they can. Yep! What Feline said! I'd posted a ? re Chowchilla and Mo posted that NINE of her letters were delivered all at once after she said she would contact the atty. Nine! You'd think they wouldn't have that much storage. Sheesh! |
