A little unusual thing, if anyone is interested... I went through some of the many stacks of letters I received, and one of the past guys that was a user stuck out at me, so I sat down and entered 5 of his letters exactly in his words on a disk... if your interested in seeing how a con begins, and the subtile words, e-me and I'll send it to you, language is grafic, so be fore-warned, Tex philipmcgee@excite.com

To everyone I sent the letters out to, I'm sorry the language was strong, but I didn't want to filter his words. This just shows how they pick a certain trait, like my being gay, then they work on that to lure you. Tex

Some else sent me copies of the letters you are offering as proof of scams. What I read were "freak" letters that you seemed to be as willing to write. And to pass on so much cash to someone that is a stranger is very odd indeed. There is no judgment or moral call here, but I am not worried about an adult who should know better, I am worried about the nice, loving, emotional women in the site who get so deeply in love with men that they ignore signs that something is amiss. People tell lies, not great secret there, but the letters you put forth are rude, crude and just stupid. I write to men have for 5 years and with odd exception when my sexuality was questioned never once had a letter of that nature sent to me. Had I received one it would have gone straight into the rubbish bin, end of story. Write and support by all means but I feel that getting into a sexual nature with an unknown lad is silly, surely no one is that lonely.

robdefrees, you know what worries me the most about people on this board---denial & their naievty. Maybe you were blessed with perfect PPs but not everyone can be that lucky. I applaud Tex for being so open about an episode that happened to him. I wouldn't bash him one minute. You said that someone else had sent this info. to you---did you ask for it, no. Tex clearly stated the strong language to be expected. If you have a problem with what you received, I suggest you take it up with whoever sent it to you. I saw those letters on a different level. I saw the pace the PP had. (I didn't concentrate on the rude & the crude as that wasn't the intent of those letters). I saw how he drew Tex's son in the letters. Don't you think that's a nice touch...read on as another user on here posted awhile back she found out her PP was a child molester & she spoke of all the times that man asked about her child, got friendly, etc. She was heartsick as she didn't see it coming. The pace of asking or even how he plays the immediate need or whatever. THAT IS WHAT A SCAM IS--- if they're good, they know your weaknesses. Kindness is one of them. Last of all, you aren't Tex, you don't live in his shoes, you have no clue as to what's going on in his life. To make the remark that you did is uncalled for. I suggest you get in touch with your feminine side & realize that even men can ignore those same signs as all "those nice, loving, emotional women in the site who get so deeply in love with men."
