| | Re: Favorite things Girl, I was JUST thinking about this very same topic! How eerie is that???LOL!! My favorite childhood memory......Gosh! There are so many! But I'd have to say that my favorite was when my Dad took the day off to spend my birthday with me! It made me feel so special and so loved! We spent the day fishing, (I was a HUGE tomboy!) and then he took me to KFC to eat. At the time, KFC was my FAVORITE place to eat in the world.....but I was all of nine and hadn't yet tasted all the world had to offer! *wink*
My favorite possession is......

I'm in doubt here... I think I would have to say my bike that my grandmother gave to me. She got that bike when she was about 16 years old and she's now 91. I got it from her when I was about 16 years old too. It was stolen in World War II (they found it again in Belgium), it was stolen from me (and was found again). An old bike, but with a lot of stories...

Two great minds think alike huh? LOL Girl, that was a heartwarming story! Brought a tear to my eye. Thanks for sharing.
My favorite concert? Well, unfortunately I have never been to a concert before, although I always wanted to! Just never had the opportunity I guess. Maybe someday. I REALLY would have liked to have gone to Lilith Fair! Sarah McLachlan is one of my all time favorite artists, and I like and admire her as a person as well. Lilith fair was her brainchild!
My favorite family vacation?

| | Re: Favorite things A year ago in February. Went to Amsterdam for a long weekend for my Dad's 70th birthday. Me, boyfriend of the time, mum, dad, brother and his partner. Stayed in a beautiful hotel, the weather was fine, had a stupendous meal on my Dad's birthday night, went to the Van Gogh Museum and Anne Frank's house, ice-skating in the park, bagels for breakfast, cold but lots of sunshine, drinking "blonde" beer......

| | Re: Favorite things Ok somebody dropped the ball. So, I get to name my favorite thing in the whole world. Nothing pleases me more than the sound of someone laughing at my attempt to bring a smile to their face. I don't feel comfortable around anybody I can't make laugh ( like cops, judges, ex-girlfriends).
