For those of you who are not living in the States, but write to people from this site, or other sites, is there any specific state that you find that mail comes from the fastest? Just wondering - I write to different inmates all over the states, and I often find that mail from Texas takes forever to come thru, whereas I can get two letters from my pal in Kansas in the time that I get one from the Tx buddies, yet they are dated the same...

Oregon is slowest for me. Than New York.
Florida, Texas, Pennsylvania are faster. But still, it feels like I am waiting for ages.

Texas is FAST for you? Really - I think they are the slowest in getting mail here! Ha ha - funny how different countries are different in receiving mail eh?!

I realize this was directed to people out of the US but I just have to say from my experience Cali is the worst! I can get a letter to my friend there in 3 days but my pp who is only a few hours away, takes up to 6 weeks to get my mail.

My pp is in Texas... it has almost been 3 weeks since I wrote, and thr royal mail site says it takes 3 to 5 days for a letter from the UK to get overseas... i'm a bit worried that he doesnt want to write me now, he asked for a pic of me, mabye he doesnt like the way I look..

Poppy, don't worry ... mail from UK to there takes a while, and then he has to write back and send you a letter.
And officially to Belgium mail from USA is also taking 3-5 days, but, lately it is really slowing down. I would at least leave it for some more weeks!!!

Don't start to think that he didn't like your picture.

Mail from America takes at the most around 9 days to get to me here in Western Australia, at the best 5.
