Hi. I was wondering if there were any specific dating websites for Ex Cons looking to get back into the relationship scene but DO WANT to be honest with any potential mate about incarceration. Im sure some feel its better to be up front than have the lady or man find out down the line they did time.

Friend of mine was released last year, after 30 years and he just tells people. Hasn't had a problem with it
Not sure 'specialised' sites would be a good idea ?? I know my friend says that he wants to put all of that behind him for now and although he reads sites like these, even joining in is too much for him as after 30 years, he occasionally feels that perhaps going back in, would be easier than all the changes he finds now.
He (i won't give his name) is doing SO well, and hopefully one day soon he WILL feel secure enough to join in here

Thanks. Yeah i have not been able to find it if it exists. I would be interested in just taking a look. It seems like it must because you have a dating site for EVERYTHING now adays so ex cons seems tame compared to some of it. But you are right. It seems likely most would just want to put it behind them especially if they did a long stint behind bars. Whether they choose to discuss it or not with a significant other is their own affair and may be a timing issue.
