THIS SPRING TWO COs (guards) AT THE PRISON FOR WOMEN AT GATESVILLE, TEXAS WERE CHARGED WITH SEX CRIMES CONCERNING WOMEN INMATES IN THE CRAIN UNIT. DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS ?

I forgot to mention their names are William David Rivera and Eddie James Davis.

I'VE SEEN THE ARTICLE TOO. THERE'S ALSO ONE ABOUT RIVERA. IT'S BEEN MONTHS AND NOT MUCH ELSE SEEMS TO HAVE COME OUT, NOT THAT I'VE BEEN ABLE TO FIND. I'M CONCERNED ABOUT THE WELL BEING OF AN INMATE IN CRAIN. SHE MAY NOT BE MY BEST FRIEND , AND SHE'S NOT PERFECT: AFTER ALL SHE GOT SENT TO PRISON. BUT, I HATE THE IDEA OF ANYBODY HARMING HER. SHE'S AN ATTRACTIVE YOUNG WHITE WOMAN: PROBABLY JUST WHAT SOME PRISON PREDATOR WOULD LOVE TO POUNCE ON.

Seems pretty common thing. A few months ago, a few CO's were removed from the Chillicothe Correctional Center in Missouri for sexual misconduct. One was jailed.

I doubt a "prison predator" would much care about the color. its about control isnt it?

Without being sexist, isn't the whole idea of having male C.O's in a womens prison problematic at least..?.Isn't that just inviting alligations and accusations to be made ?

Exactly !!! And not a sexist statement at all, its a given fact of human nature.

Ok we have female prison officers working in male prisons here in the U.K, but i am sure that when they are dealing with offenders there is always at least 1 male Prison officer with them for back up and that female prison officers are not left alone with an offender just incase of any incident or accusation with that prisoner.

isn't the system the same for Male co's in U.S female prisons to prevent any alligations being made?
