Default Collect calls

I wanted to say that I have signed up with prisoncallsonline.com and my saving is awesome!! Went from 3.89 the first minute & 89 cents a minute after that to 96 cents for the first and 10 cents after. I cut my phone bill by 60%...It is cheaper the closer you are to your PP.. Mine is East coast & I am mountain. Check it out and I hope I didn't violate any rules by posting this...

yes they service other countries and if used regularly it is much cheaper, there is a monthly line rental type fee, which for example is about US$28 a month for Australia

The website hasn't been working all weekend, hopefully they'll be back tomorrow :-) (I use it and it's great)

Hi Silverparrot,
I hope you aren't vilating any rules either, because I'm sure that there are many who are dieing for information like that. :-)
One of the great things about this forum is that it is a great place to share that kind of stuff with one another.
Unfortunately I can't use that info, because my PP only gets 5 minutes every three months, so she doesn't even try. But, maybe some day. I can always hope. :-)

This is good to know!
Do you know if collect calls can be made to a cell phone? I don't have a lan line at home anymore since there's no need to.
I am preparing to have my first call, and would like some tips to save money too
Thx
Alex
